After all the planning an anticipation, Bible Come to Life in Finchley has now come and gone. After an afternoon opening on Monday 3rd April 2006, featuring the mayor, we were also privileged to welcome Bishop Peter Wheatley, the Bishop of Edmonton, who attended during the evening to admire the many exhibits and listen to some of the evening seminars. The artefacts are brought to life with actors in original costumes and interactive talks. The sessions followed in the same format for the rest of the week.

David Scott brought us interesting and informative talks on life in the village and the desert, explained customs associated with the city gate and brought insight into wedding customs from the Middle East. The final talks featured Jewish-Christian relations and the Passover and 'Last Supper' on the final Thursday.
