Prayer features prominently in the life of
the church, and is key to the aim of the church to be a 'House of Prayer
for all Nations'. Members of Christ Church believe in the importance of
prayer in understanding God and his purposes for us and also the power of
prayer to influence the world. Various groups of people meet for prayer
during the week but the main events are as follows:
Vestry Prayer - Sunday mornings at 9:00 am
Vestry Prayer - Sunday evenings at 5:45 pm
Church Prayer meeting - Monday evenings at
8:00 pm on the third Monday of the month. Meetings take place in the
church hall, in the Parks Lounge.
