A thought of the day received on Thursday 19th July 2001. |
Set Me in my rightful place and give me the homage that is due to Me. I abhor half-hearted praise, for your minds are not focussed fully on me. Your petty moans are a barrier between us. I know what is in your hearts. Give Me your burdens; you tend to think that you are in control. When
will you learn? Each one is a stumbling block to you and you fall before you reach the foot of the cross. So how can I carry your burdens? My arms are open wide but you do not run to me, as a child to his father. You cannot hide; you cannot conceal your sins from Me. You cannot blame other people for what you have done. When you pray to Me we are alone together. Embrace Me as your lover and open your heart, for I love to make you happy, for contentment breeds trust. Loosen the girdle, take off your shoes and let us relax together, for Satan hates unity. He thrives on your doubts. He is exalted by your moans. Trust only in Me and stop pleasing Satan. 19.7.01
