A thought of the day received on Friday 20th July 2001. |
When you pray to me, keep your mind clear of other interests. If you have fears, bring those before me first. Let us clear the path together so that our walk together can be on even ground. There is so much we never discuss. You try to hide so much from me. What are you frightened of? How can I cleanse you, when you hold back from me even after you have confessed and asked forgiveness? If you know of other transgressions and haven't brought them before me, you make a mockery of my suffering and your sins have multiplied. Let us start afresh. Open your heart to me and no other god. Have I ever hurt you? Bring your fears to me, whatever they are. For fear is a barrier which keeps my love from you. Clear the trees from the path; then we can walk together. 20.7.01
