A thought of the day received on Wednesday 12th September 2001, in the immediate aftermath of the terrorist atrocities in America in New York and Washington the previous day.
|
Do not let your mind be distraught with rage, for you will lose sight of Me and all of your judgement will be shattered. I am the judge of this world. Bring all of your hearts before Me, and My courts will administer the only true justice that you cannot understand. Do not seek retribution, for this will put you in the judgement seat where your own rage will blind you from the truth. Come before Me. I know that your hearts are aching with grief but do not let vengeance direct your actions, for the humble will inherit the planet. Remember, your power is of no avail before Me. You can only generate more hate. Let prayer be at the heart of your nation, for I have promised to protect you, but you do not seek My will, you are hard hearted and your self reliance will only destroy you. Do not let the blood of another nation be on your hands. But seek My will so that true justice may be revealed. 12.9.01
