A thought of the day received on Friday 14th September 2001.
|
Set your trust in place, for there are many trials ahead. For if you stand alone who is there to comfort you in times of need? Who can you take counsel with in times of decision? You cannot conquer My kingdom by force, for only the humble can approach My porticos and see the grandeur that awaits them. For they have My peace within their being. They do not have to strive to draw My attention, for I know each of My flock by name and I am always waiting on them to come into My presence. You must submit to Me so that I can cleanse you from the hate that lies dormant within your being, and the malice which is frightened of the light of day. I know that confession is a weakening experience and that your memories can cause you to be distraught. But I had to suffer death on the cross so that I could win the glory of the third day and stand with My Father in heaven. For pain and glory go hand in hand, for your confession must reveal your sins in their entirety. I have suffered your pain so that I can welcome you into My kingdom, that you may receive glory. 14.9.01
