A thought of the day received on Wednesday 16th January 2002. |
The bitterness of your hearts is an abomination to Me. For how can you say that you love Me, with venom on your tongue for your brother. Love and hate do not mix, love is love and hate is hate. A little hate in the heart will consume your love and sour your mind. Children, you accept My love but you expect forgiveness without forgiving. I say to you 'Swallow your pride, or lose salvation'. I cannot abide double standards, for to mock My commandments can only lead to eternal separation from Me. You think that you abide in My blessing but you are fooling yourselves. Come, you are in the twilight of this world and evil lurks in every corner. I know all of the temptations of this world, but you have been put in the knowledge of My being and you are in the knowledge of the pain that I suffered to bring eternal life to all who truly turn to Me. If you have never truly forgiven your brother you have never truly received My love, the two go hand in hand. Again, I say to you, 'come before it is too late. My arms are always stretched out waiting to embrace you and bring true joy into your lives'. Do not be like a dog with a bone; release you grip so that your sins fall before Me. Forgive your brother as well as your enemies, for when you truly forgive, your mind is set free and you will feel My forgiveness as My love floods through your being. Only then will you know what true joy is. 16.1.02
