A thought of the day received on Sunday 20th January 2002. |
Deal fairly with all of your transactions, for you do not like to be cheated. My commandments are not a rod to beat you but a life line so that I can guide you through this life and take you into My eternal kingdom. Do not say in your mind 'I will follow you later when I have done this or that', for can you say how long later will be? Do not gamble with your future, for no one can say for certain that tomorrow will come. Do not be tempted by the pleasures of this world, for you will lose sight of Me and be absorbed by your own desires. Heed My commandments and live in My protection, for they are the shield which I set in place when you turn to Me. If you could only see the evil that surrounds you, you would have no doubts. Let Me bring light into your being, for I weep when I see you stumbling over your own mistakes time after time again. Do not follow the crowd, not knowing where it will take you. But be in charge of your own destination and wake up to the reality which is there before you. Trust in Me and know your destination, for I am always waiting for you to come. Do not look over your shoulder to see what your neighbour is doing You must stand on your own, the decision is yours. Turn to the world's desires and eternal damnation, or turn to Me and confess all of your sins before Me and I will cleanse you and bring peace into your life and show you the glories of My kingdom. 20.1.02
