A thought of the day received on Monday 18th March 2002. |
Remember that your body is a temple where My Spirit lives, remember that you belong to Me. For it is for you that I suffered on the cross. Do not let your sins prevent you from seeking My will, but come to Me that we can spend time together, and you can tell Me the actions that cause you to sin. Do not be afraid of your actions for I know your human desires. I want you to really know that I love you and want to protect you. But I can only do these things if you come to Me. Give Me your hopes and desires and let us work together and we can build on a firm foundation of trust and love. Without trust no relationship can bloom and without love Satan will fill the void and tempt your human desires into sin and drive a wedge between us. Remember, My understanding is beyond your understanding, and that My love is greater than your love, and that My sacrifice stands on its own so that your salvation is complete through Me. When you are tempted, draw your strength from the cross and know that I am with you always. Let My Spirit dwell within the temple of your soul for Satan cannot abide unity. 18.3.02
