A thought of the day received on Monday 27th May 2002. |
Let your prayers come from your hearts, and seek My will, for I know what keeps you from coming to Me more often. I know what makes you angry and resentful, but when you come to Me you should tell me your feelings and release the anger that boils within you. For how can I comfort you when you do not admit it to yourselves? I want to comfort you but you talk among yourselves and stir up even more anger, and doubt that I can help you. Trust Me more and miracles will happen. When you talk among yourselves you are dancing with Satan, for he will urge you on in your bitterness and claim victory over your soul. Do not forsake Me, but let this unhappy period draw you closer to Me. You forget that I am always with you, and that I live within each one of you. Instead of talking among yourselves come to Me in prayer and let My Spirit bless the occasion, and comfort your souls. Do not let earthly matters blind you from My glory, let Me turn your anger into joy. Look only to Me, be united in the fellowship, be strengthened through your knowledge of Me. For My love is everlasting and I will not forsake you. 27.5.02
