A thought of the day received on Sunday 10th November 2002. |
Remember that I am always with you - so why do you despair? You must learn to trust Me. Stop tormenting yourselves, for in doing so you walk deeper into the mire, for the way back is even harder than going forwards. You tend to forget that I am your only salvation, and it is My blood, death and resurrection that has set you free from the torments of this world. You are like prisoners whose cell door is open but you prefer to be locked within yourselves. When will your minds absorb the glories of My kingdom and the freedom that My blood has bestowed upon you. If you could only be honest with Me and stop thinking that you can hide your past - for I know all your dark secrets which you shove in the depths of your minds. But you are prisoners of you own making. I know that to face the truth can be hard, but only you have the key. Repentance is sweet, but you must et your hearts rule your tongue, and hand over your souls to My keeping. Only repentance can lift the shroud of despair and release your minds so that true praise can echo from your being. Bring your prayers to Me, for when you are honest with Me I will give you full measure of the glories to come. 10.11.02
